Kevin Minnick has over a decade of litigation experience representing companies of all sizes in business disputes, government enforcement litigation, and class action cases. His trial and appellate experience encompasses consumer protection suits, trademark litigation, qui tam actions under the False Claims Act, and contract disputes—both affirmative and defensive—across a variety of industries including automotive, apparel, education, healthcare, and financial services. Kevin’s practice also includes counseling companies and executives about compliance and ethics best practices, and he has worked on two independent monitorships overseen by different arms of the federal government.

In 2017, Kevin was named one of the Best LGBT Lawyers Under 40 by the National LGBT Bar Association. In 2020, the Los Angeles Business Journal included Kevin on its annual list of Top Minority Attorneys.

Kevin graduated first in his class from the UCLA School of Law, where he was an Articles Editor of the UCLA Law Review. After graduation, Kevin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Raymond C. Fisher on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Before joining Spertus, Landes & Josephs, Kevin was Counsel at the Los Angeles office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
